The word wall is designed to be an interactive tool for students and contains an array of words that can be used during writing. Word walls can be used in all content areas. Students will need guidance and support in using the Word Wall.

• Have students create pictures to go with new vocabulary words.

• In small groups guide students in using a word wall to complete sentence frames.
Approaching
