Teacher Insights

Increasing Rigor
Using Effective Questions
  • Students need support and modeling to develop questioning skills.
  • Knowing how and when to ask for help allows students to more actively participate in their own learning.
  • In feedback communication receivers are not just passive absorbers of messages; they receive messages and respond to them.

Due to recursive nature of the standards, it is essential that teachers are aware of how all objectives within and between strands work together for optimal instruction.
