-
A contraction is two words made shorter by placing an apostrophe where letters have been omitted.
-
Students often confuse the apostrophe with a comma. Make sure this is corrected before students get in the habit of calling the apostrophe a comma.
|
Due to recursive nature of the standards, it is essential that teachers are aware of how all objectives within and between strands work together for optimal instruction.
