It is important to give students guidance and support.

This standard is focusing on starting a sentence with a capital letter and ending with a period or question mark. Feedback should key in on the beginning capital letter and the ending mark. Elements such as subject/verb agreement developmentally will be addressed in later grades.
|
Due to recursive nature of the standards, it is essential that teachers are aware of how all objectives within and between strands work together for optimal instruction.
