Collaborative Discussions Video

  • Collaborative discussions provide structured opportunities for students to be speakers and listeners and to participate in conversations about appropriate topics and texts.
  • At this stage,  proper guidance and support are needed for students to build these discussion skills through clear expectations and diverse opportunities for collaborative conversations.

Due to recursive nature of the standards, it is essential that teachers are aware of how all objectives within and between strands work together for optimal instruction.
